UNBECOMING: GROWING UP

An authentic journey through boyhood and into the beginning of adulthood. it is a must-read for anyone trying to figure out whom they want to be and where they fit in in society. It is the book I wish I had when I was growing up and figuring all of this out. It was the driving force behind writing this book and it is my sincere hope that it finds its way to a reader that needs it as much as I did when I was growing up. This is a modern-day coming of age story. A story about growing up in the '90s, growing up male, navigating relationships, hormones, and mental illness all the while figuring out one's identity in a world that was set in its ways long before you were born. It is raw and real, and at times uncomfortably honest. It will make you laugh. It will make you cry. It will unlock the emotions you reserve for your dearest friends. At the end of the book, the main character feels not like a distant person, but like a friend. At the very least, it leaves you with a sense of hope after punching you in the heart a few times.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
How I Got Here
I’ve been crafting stories for as long as I can remember, but in 2018 I decided to take the plunge and dedicate myself to the writing profession. Since then, I’ve been very fortunate to have had my books and copies published and read all over the world. I also started offering my services to up-and-coming writers and ESL students alike.
I look at the world through a writer’s lens. I see stories in everyday life just waiting to be told and do my best to be the medium through which they reach the page. I strive to inspire and encourage my students to unlock and open their writer's eye in order craft their own writing styles and write to the best of their ability.
I ensure my corporate clients can rest easy with impactful and world-class editing, proofreading, and copywriting services. As a result, I have enjoyed a fantastic working relationship with one of the leading architectural firms in South Africa, MakeSpace Architects.
